In The Spotlight: Studio DMI's Alliance

Connecting with people plays an important role in every artist’s career. Getting feedback, sharing ideas, learning from others and getting your music to the right people is a must if you want to succeed. And these days, it all happens mostly online.

So with that in mind I just wanted to showcase Studio DMI’s Alliance network (SDMIA).

Before you ask what on earth is SDMIA, here are a few words about Studio DMI first.

Studio DMI is a mixing and mastering studio, which includes specializing in electronic dance music and is located in Las Vegas. One of it’s founders is Grammy nominated mixing and mastering engineer Luca Pretolesi. Luca has over 25 years in the studio and has mixed & mastered hit after hit for artists such as Skrillex, Diplo, Lil Jon, Dada Life, Borgore, Cedric Gervais, Major Lazer, Morgan Page, 2 Chainz, etc.

Studio DMI’s Alliance is a professional networking and resource hub which is aimed at DJ’s, sound engineers and musicians. Members of the SDMIA can interact with each other and some of it’s honorary members including such well known artists as Above & Beyond, Morgan Page, TJR, Fergie DJ, Noize Suppressor, Max Vangeli, DJ Shiftee and many others.

What are the advantages of being a member of SDMIA?

You’ll get access to the members-only streaming content which includes archived video content from bi-weekly “Fly On The Wall” (FOTW) sessions. FOTW video series includes hours of video in the studio with Luca Pretolesi and other engineers working on industry leading music.

There’s also two-way bi-weekly Live video Q&A sessions to interact with the engineers and prominent artists.

Track reviews by professionals and peers for your music are also part of the assets.

And access to a private members-only blog gives you possibility to share opinions, post requests for assistance and services, and get a chance to get exclusive material to help you in your music production. You can also share your music with other artists including honorary members.

Other benefits includes:

It’s also worth mentioning that Studio DMI is holding a “October Drawing” contest where the winner gets added $500 to their Studio DMI Black Card. Not only will you receive your typical gift of $25 applied to your card just for signing up in October, but during their Drawing you will automatically get entered into their $500 giveaway.
