T-Force Alpha Plus | Great Free VST Synth!

T-Force Alpha Plus | Great Free Trance Synth!

T-Force Alpha Plus by Mastrcode Music is a great sounding free subtractive/FM synthesizer. You can easily get out those uplifting trance sounds from it and a lot more.

Here are some technical details (quote from Mastrcode Music website):

Alpha Plus is the advanced version of the T-Force Alpha TS. It has all features of the Alpha TS with some more and some updated functions: new synthesis (Subtractive and additionally FM Synthesis), revised oscillators with some more functions and now with a separate noise oscillator, new Mod Envelopes and now with a new integrated Sidechain FX (e.g. for the typical side-chained pad sounds and/or pumping basses etc.).

  • Synthesis: Subtractive/FM.
  • 3 Multiwave Oscillators with voice control (adjustable from 1 to 8 voices per osc), adjustable stereo width and panning, with Sine, Saw, Ramp (reversed Saw), Triangle, Pulse (square with PWM) waveforms and retrigger option for each oscillator (with “retrigger off” the oscillator is in free running mode, the oscillator starts with random phase positions everytime played a note, with “retrigger on” the oscillator’s phase starts from position 0 everytime played a note.
  • 1 Noise Oscillator with adjustable stereo width and volume.
  • 1 Resonance Four Pole State Variable Filter, switchable between Low Pass, High Pass, Bandpass and switchable 12/24 dB slope, Resonance can be driven up to self oscillation.
  • 1 ADSR Filter Envelope.
  • 1 ADSR Amp Envelope.
  • 2 ADSR Mod Envelopes.
  • 2 host syncable LFOs.
  • Adjustable Drive function for Saturation/Distortion.two band Low Freq/High Freq Equalizer.
  • Bitcrusher.
  • Portamento.
  • 32 step Envelope Controlled Trance Gate.
  • Velocity control (on/off).
  • Dual Delay, switchable between Stereo mode and Ping-pong mode (right and left channels have their own tempo settings).
  • Stereo Reverb.
  • integrated Sidechain FX, optional with internal bpm synced triggering or external triggering via MIDI In (triggered by MIDI Note On, on MIDI channel 2).
  • all functions fully automatable.

Okay I’m SOOOOOO picking this up!

i have some bugy in fl studio sadly 🙁
sound peeps sometimes etc.

Maybe you have a vst plugin on demo version. thats what they do.

Also having problems with pops and cracks, but a really good synth! I wonder if an update or patch could simply fix this, because it has huge potential.

Also, I’m using fl9. Caine, are you using fl9 or 10?

I haven’t. I have 12gb of ram and an i7 processor. Should it be popping and cracking with those specs?, and is fl10 a better choice than fl9 for this synth?

me too, im using fl studio 10 and my pc is only half a year old :). omnisphere etc. no problemo!

Do you know how to automate the oscillators, filters and its other knobs? It can’t seem to do so. Do you know a way?

Sounds brilliant! If its a CPU-eater, would a good idea be create the patterns and such you want in a seperate file, then export it as a wav?

So I seemed to fix the problem on my end. I went into options, audio settings and selected asiodriver4all or something. The pops and cracks are no longer there.

thanks Petri, did you ever get my mail about ebm, dark ambient? never got a mail 🙁

I cant seem to get it to download as vsti, it keeps having me download new programs to open it with, and i dont seem to get any closer to opening it with fl studio! sighs* =[

so ive been using this synth for a couple days and i have to say its my new go to synth! its working fine in fl 10. if its not try and click the gear next to the arrow on the top left of the plug in and click on processing and try bridged mode.if that doesn’t work try “use fixed buffer size”.also make sure your buffer length in the audio tab is all the way to the right. anyways this synth sounds nice and is capable of piercing lead, euphoric pads, deep basses(even some dubstep wobbles are possible) to snappy plucks… Read more »

I just listen the first preset and went to download inmediatly

Hey, I downloaded the plugins, but they aren’t changing the sounds of anything I put down. Would you happen to know a way to fix this?

For some reason it doesn’t load in FL Stusio 10.

*FL Studio.

Sorry for the typo.

Thanks man. You’ve been so much help on my music making skills. They’ve skyrocketed lol. You’ve made so much available, it’s simply amazing, and I really appreciate it. Also, I really like your music. It’s really well put together and sounds awesome. I really like Earth In Control. 😀

This plugin is great! Very similar to Sylenth1

Wow, Yep I agree definitely quite similar to Sylenth1, Can even get a close sound to the JP8000

I’m having trouble with rendering a file with FL Studio. This seems to only happen when T-Force Alpha is being used. Any ideas?
