But how’s the content? What’s my opinion?
First of all, this is a high quality sample pack. Production quality is great as always with Alonso Sound’s products.
This pack is all one-shots so there’s a HUGE amount of samples to build your very own drum, bass and synth patterns.
The kick samples sound very punchy and clean and there’s plenty of variety between them to make ’em fit easily into many different EDM genres. And most of them are also key labeled.
And the snare drums, claps and other percussion material accompanies the kicks nicely.
There’s also synth stabs and synth shots. I found couple of cool gems from the stabs folder.
My favorite is the bass shots though. They sound very edgy and modern and they play along with the kicks and rest of the percussion material really well. It’s easy to build the whole fundamental section (drums and bass) for your track very quickly just by using these samples.
The included 200 Sylenth1 and Spire patches keeps up the same quality standards set by the WAV sample content. Very up to date EDM presets.
There’s also two bonus packs included, aimed for Industrial and Trap producers. My favorite is the Industrial samples. I think I’m going to find a use for them in my own experimental oriented productions.
As a conclusion: I warmly recommend this sample pack for any modern EDM producer!

I think it’s also worth mentioning that Alonso Sound has also just released a “Hardwell Sylenth1 Soundset Vol. 2“, a preset pack which contains 128 patches for Sylenth1. All sounds programmed by Hardwell himself.
Check the demo below. Hard hitting sounds if I may say so!
