Hey,
This is a wonderfull synth, it's awesome for dubstep! There seem's to be a problem with the oskillator's. When I record with pianoroll they do not work proper. They get offbeat and cinda "live they're own life". I'm new to mixing, so I have no clue what makes this happen. Is this something I can fix? Would love to use it for my projects :) Now I can only use it without the OSC'S so I stick to 3x Osc for now.

Hey there,

If you want the automation clip to be at certain length, make a selection in the Playlist Timeline, and after that, create the automation clip and the clip will automatically span the length of your selection. You can also change length after its created: just drag the last control point to stretch the clip.

Hope this helps!

Hey Petri,

Thanks that helped a lot. I have one more problem. I just finished this new track and i decided to make the white sweep noise. My problem is when I change the frequency nob to 125 to create an automation clip it doesn't pop up under my pattern like the tutorial on youtube. Instead the frequency fruity filter extends to the length of my track instead of the 4 bars that I put in my pattern. Is there a way to make my fruity filter frequency connect to my pattern with the four bars instead of extending the the amount of the track? Or was i supposed to make the white noise sweep before i made the track? Thanks for all your help! :)

Hey Max,

I'm having a problem with downloading the free VSTS you've posted. The way i put them in my Fl studio 9 file is going to my computer, image line, Fl studio, data, patches, then packs. Is this the correct way of putting the vst in your FL studio? also when i usually download vsts i will the the sample sounds in the folder after i extract them. That's how i know the vsts work, but when i download these vst samples all i see is a guide and note? is there another way to put the vsts and samples in Fl Studio files? thanks for taking the time out to read this. :)

Np!

Yea, at least in FL you can draw all kinds of automation envelopes - curvy as well. That way the transition is softer yeah. I'm not familiar with Reaper, but I'm quite sure it has the automation function as well (most DAW's do).

To your last question: playing different notes (not just one long continues note) and using filter automation is one of the standard methods in electronic music production - I do it all the time as well as countless of others producers so I suggest you to test it out. It gives a nice variation to the color of the sound.

Hey Max,

I think the best way to do that is to create automation clip for the Cutoff and draw a 'stairs' like envelope. Are you using FL Studio? Do you know how to use automation? For starters check out this tutorial: https://howtomakeelectronicmusic.com/how-to-use-automation-in-fl-studio/
