I would like to get feedback about my song, considering that someone from LinuxMusicians.com that I've requested feedback complained about my song being way too repetitive. For the verses, I've had the second note in a rhythm be in "C" and it's been a theme for my song.

I gave it variations so it won't be so repetitive, but that's not enough. Well, sometimes I even became defensive when communicating via forum's private message.

WOW! Amazing read, VERY helpful, some of these things I DID notice on my own, but had no idea what was actually happening until now. I used to be one of those "Technical elitists"who hated repetition, which is funny because I usually only listen to electronic music. I also produce as well, and was having a hard time with one of my tracks but I think reading this will help me out a lot with it. There is a huge rhythm change near the beginning of my track and I think that could be causing the "Ouch" vibe I get when I playback.

I never realized how important and awesome repetition can be, however, I was always very aware of the whole point about knowing your audience. It was a good idea to throw that part in your article, because just like certain people can like certain types of music, certain people will like certain vibes in individual tracks regardless of genre, and this should really bring awareness to that in people who never really picked these things up before.
